Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership ( and Southwest Florida Hackerspace are teaming up to present " Intro to loT - MicroControllers vs MicroProcessors. This workshop will be presented by Russell Benzing & Eric Schiffli.

What is loT?  Want to know how to connect your devices to the internet and communicate together? Learn about Microcontrollers vs Microprocessors and which is better for your solution. Get up to date ideas on what you can build with Low Powered Arduino or Raspberry Pi devices and how.

Participants please bring your own laptops, additional monitors.  If you have arduino boards or Raspberry Pi's bring those as well. There will be a few extra to share for teams to collaborate with.

8:30am to 9am - Registration is open
9:00am - 12p - presentation by HackerSpace
12p - 1p - Hands on working time
