The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership invites students,employers and company representatives to attend TECHmatch 2013 – an evening of interaction between students and leading area companies. Thursday, April 18th, 2013 | 6:00pm - 8:30pm at The Florida Gulf Coast University - Sugden Resort & Hospitality Management Bldg (SRHM) Room #114.  Hosted by The Computer Science Club of Florida Gulf Coast University.

Recognizing that technology is integral to every part of business, TECHmatch 2013 will feature panel presentations that highlight the regional economics of career opportunities in STEM, discussion from leading area businesses and concludes with targeted networking between students and business representatives. 

Panel Participants: Gary Jackson, Ph.D and Director of the Regional Economic Research Institute / Florida Gulf Coast University.  David Dewhirst, Natalie Dewhirst Co-founders of Three Twelve Creative, Buddy Martin - COO of Entech Computers representing - Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association, Jeremy Stakely President of ITVantage, Inc.,Ray Flowers, Senior Applications Engineer of ITVantage, Inc., Jim Wall- Communications Manager of SWFL Works. Andy Kunkle - IT Manager Algenol Biofuels.

For employers, TECHmatch is an opportunity to set the pace for future employees. For students, it’s an opportunity to meet area employers and hear first-hand their experiences and growth plans.
