    Call for Nominations for 10th Annual Technology Awards

    ESTERO, Fla. (February 26, 2018) – The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership (RTP) seeks nominations for the 10th annual Technology Awards Meeting. Award finalists will be revealed at an event April 12, 2018 and awards will be presented at the 2018 Annual Awards Meeting to be held May 17, 2018 at The Club at Grandezza in Estero.

    Nominations are being accepted in the following categories: Innovention Award, recognizing technical achievement by a Southwest Florida technology company; Transformation Award, highlighting the use of technology in government, nonprofit, or companies outside the technology sector to address a business or operational challenge; and Technology Woman of the Year Award which honors the accomplishments of a Southwest Florida woman in a technology role and her commitment to diversity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.

    Nominations can be submitted by email to awards@swfrtp.org and must include the following information: award category for the nomination, name of nominated company or individual and contact information for company or individual (email and phone). The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 9, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. Everyone accepting a nomination will be sent an application to complete. Awards event sponsorships are available for companies wanting their brand in front of the the technology community.

    About Regional Technology Partnership

    The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership (RTP) was chartered in 2008 and is the only group dedicated solely to the growth of the technology cluster in southwest Florida. The nonprofit organization is a member of Lee County’s Horizon Council and is comprised of technology companies and technology users, economic development groups and higher education institutions. Through its strategies of catalyze, cultivate and connect, the RTP produces educational seminars, career forums, professional networking events and the only regional awards program dedicated to technology development and implementation.
